As I write this, we are in the midst of one of the most devastating health crises in history.
Every day, I painfully watch the parallels between what we are experiencing as a society and my own personal health journey as both a caregiver and a patient; mostly, how I had to learn foreign concepts very quickly, assess and interpret data, and make critical, life altering decisions for my son’s (Emmett) diagnosis and for mine.
